Description:

Low Temperature Difference Magnetic Stirling Engine Colorful STEM Model Physics Experiment

EASY TO PLAY: this engine is powered by the temperature differential between top and bottom panels. Just take it out of the box and put it atop a mug of hot water, wait for seconds, then give the flywheel a gentle push in one direction and you're up and running! With substantial temperature supply it will keep rotating for days like Forrest Gump! The operating temperature differential between the two panels is around 15-20C/27-34F, lower than most of the engines on the market.

STIRLING ENGINE OF HIGH PERFORMANCE: compared with traditional engines, this one runs smoother and is stabler: use self-lubricated graphite power piston(less friction & unbreakable); stainless steel string as connecting rod between the crank on the flywheel and the piston(less friction); two little magnets on the power piston and displacer interact with each other as connecting rod to eliminate mechanical friction while simplifying the structure in a graceful way.

A FANCY DESKTOP TOY: This stirling engine runs rapidly and quitely when placed on a mug of hot coffee. In addition, we use better materials with special surface treatments to make it look prettier and have a higher performance: stainless steel base with mirror finish is rust-resistant; polished standing rod made of aluminum alloy has a smoother & brighter surface, sturdy enough to stand on the base; clear acrylic flywheel make the whole engine has a more aesthetic appearance!

A BIG HIT FOR EVERYONE: when having friends at home, it will definitely be an eye catcher; kids will be as excited as Wright brothers saw their first toy helicopter hovering in the sky, they will wonder about whats happening and why. It's also a great entertainment for people in the office, definitely an innovative desk piece totally amazing your work friends walking by. This good-looking engine with brushed Aluminium base and highly polished standing rod will be a great gift for everyone.

WIDE APPLICATIONS/GREAT GIFT: it will be a remarkable gift for anyone interested in science; a great conversation piece that could be used as teaching tool on demonstrating physics knowledge; enable kids to think about basic principles of the universe. Especially for those who owned Stirling engines before, you should try this one and I guess youll not feel regretful.

This Stirling engine is driven by the Temperature Differential between the top and bottom panels. The simplest way to create enough temperature differential is placing it atop a mug of hot water. Rotating speed highly depends on the differential: the higher, the faster. Our experiment indicates that it can rotate at a speed of around 600-1000 RPM when placed on a mug of boiled water.

The Operating Temperature Differential of this model is around 27-34F, much lower than most of the engines on the market. It can continuously rotate for 20-25 minutes on a cup of 140F water, safer for kids. Please note when you use 140F water (its steam actually) within a 250ml tea cup as heat source, the temperature of bottom panel is about 122F.

Our technical team has taken several effective steps to improve its performance: employ magnets to interact between power piston and displacer to eliminate mechanical friction effectively while make the whole structure simple and stable; a self-lubricated graphite power piston to reduce friction and increase robustness; a stainless steel string as connecting rod between the crank on the flywheel and the power piston to reduce more friction(less contact area). It will be an eye-catching desktop toy & gift for everyone.
